On Saturday and Sunday 14-25 June 2023 SDN organised Two days   consultation workshop DPOs support the advocacy plan and the coalition building  is held in Mogadishu for the members of the PWDs, DPOs and the CSOs participated by more fifty persons both male and females with diverse background from the Youth, teachers, activists and members from the local authority Benedri region.
The workshop is opened with Quran and introduction work from the participants. Proceeded by the contents of the two days workshop disability rights protection advocacy plan for the PWDs, DPOs and the CSOs key front line of the human rights protection in Somalia. The workshop has six thematic areas of focus to discuss were point analysing the situation of the PWDs the challenges and the solution for the problems raised in the discussions
Day one the workshop was direct lectures and presentations for the overall human rights advocacy work coordination, planning and implementation requirement. The participants disused with facilitators and the human right defenders who are expert of the issue. The  participant made  contribution with their experiences and knowledge of human rights advocacy and protection for the disability people  in Somalia.
Number of questions raised in the session of the day were leading solution for the overall protection to the pWDs and member oft their families. What is disability, types of disability, common violations against the rights of the PWDs and the type of discrimination in the society. Which has been categories three organized, incidental and family members.  Number of cases has been presented on the table and written on the fillip chart the participant can see easily and respond
The facilitator and the co-facilitators working the two days consultation workshop for the disability rights advocacy plan and the unity of the actors was an active with full engagement the ToR presentations, questions, answered and the recommendations. Among the top are disability is not inability, stereotype is illegal that can be prevented, the inclusion of disability in the human rights protection. This can insure the reduction of stigma, human degrading, exclusion of service beneficiaries for the public and private in Somalia.

Day two in the workshop for the disability organization advocacy plan and coalition building. Â Â Â Â The facilitator and the co-facilitators used the second day agenda which include some thematic areas of intervention for the protection of the overall human rights and particularly the PWDs role and rights in the society. The workshop started with principles of disability rights protection with some strategic plane made by international NGOs, UN agencies and activist both in Somalia and in the abroad.
The facilitator and the co-facilitators made presentations for the lessons of the day two and the advocacy plan question that can support the people working and the DPOs role to insure the active protection of the disability rights in Somalia. An overview of the disability rights models were presented, Washington group of question, and disability strategic plan for the UN was presented. The commitment for the disability made in the Global disability conference 2018 and 2022 commitment implementations for Somalia government and international NGOs based in Somalia.
The participants were divided into six group work with variety topic each that can make focus in one are. The what  is disability rights advocacy, what is disability rights awareness, what are the challenges against the PPWDs social, what are the challenges against the DPOs in the advocacy. And what is the solution of the problems.  The groups made presentations for the papers the made with their ideas and contributions for the group work
The team made panels to analyse the presentation and recommendation made in the group work and group presentations. The panellist were five from three main categories of the disability people present in the conference representing the views and the challenges of their groups. The panellists  said
- within the serial conference organized member of the PWDs in the last two month May and June 2023 which are nearly five conference organized the SDN and five other conferences participated member of SDN who made contributions and input for that meetings. That raised high level questions for the disability right advocacy and national days asked question top leadership in the country.
- the need for the disability protection in Somalia process is going  with stakeholder mainly lead by the PWDs and DPOs.  For the advocacy for the implementation of the CRPD, CRC convention child rights, NDA national disability act and NDP 10 National Development plan. The implementation of national disability strategic plan, census and funds. That can supportive for the development and protection of the PWDs in Somalia
- the participation of the legislation in Somalia input for the federal government professional constitution which exclusion the disability that has no articles in the constitution. The inclusion of the national independent agencies, commissions, ministries and the parliament for the member of the PWDs who more than 15% in the society without voice in the policy and lawmakers.
- The establishment Somali disability agenda program that stand the implementation of the disability inclusion in Somalia. Working the al stakeholder the PWDs, DPOs, CSOs, Local authority, Donors, embassies and federal government of Somalia for the coordination of the master plan for the disability development and protection in Somalia.
- Disability inclusion in the opportunities for the private and public sector in Somalia, scholarship medical care, employment, investment, loans, fund raising and the partnership with donors for the disability people inclusion in the investment of education, employment, TVET and research that are supportive to the PWD in Somalia
