On Saturday and the Sunday the  10th and 11th  June 2023 SDN organized two days workshop for the DPOs provide training the disability people organization. The workshop is held in Mogadishu at Primo Palace Hotel . the two days workshop is participated by 30 persons from the PWDs, PDOs, CSOs and the women and the youth organizations in Banadir region.
The two days workshop for the DPOs provide training the disability people organization  is aimed to provide intensive course   training for the members of the institutions and organizations participating the training. The participants learned overall human rights protection and inclusion protection that serve the disability people the children, youth, adult people and the aging most of the vulnerable for human rights abuses in Somalia
The workshop was interactive two way were participants had their role to say and present ideas and knowledge about the human rights protection and the disability inclusion. Some of the participants made contributions to the workshop participants and the organisers with key points and cases that are relevant to the objectives and the goals of the workshop

Overall objectives
- Training and mentoring provided to people with disabilities on their rights and how to claim them
- To provide books for CRPD and instruct for the awareness raising and self-organise for the disability inclusion human rights in Somalia .
Specific Objectives
- Training the member of the DPOs, PWDs and CSOs for the CRPD article with extensive analysis and examples that help the understand well .
- Public of CRPD books and handout manuals for the participants in the workshop to be equipped with supportive ToRs and referral materials in action
Expected Outcome
- SDN goal is to strengthen the persons with disabilities and strengthen basic knowledge of OPDs basic on human nights
- Enhanced the roles of persons with disabilities in the NDP being developed, and human right activist to advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities including implementation of UNCRPD.
- To enhance meaningful participation of persons with disabilities including children with and without disabilities in our everyday activities.
- Enhanced the understanding of the society to ensure the autonomy, and identification of complex barriers and enablers that is surrounds persons with disabilities in Somalia including legal documents.
Methodologies that will be used during the consultation meeting may include but not limited to: –
SDN will employ volunteers who are working in the coordination and the facilitation of the one  day on the development of the national disability policy and discuss how to contribute and influence to the development of the national disability policy (NDP).
They will employ the following approaches
- Lectures and presentation
- Discussing and checking of the existing policies on disability inclusion.
- Discussion and brainstorming
- Comparative analysis for national and international policies
- Presentation material power point and flip charts
- Groups assignment and plenary sessions
The workshop achievement
The  organization and the coordination of the two days’ workshop for the training the PWDs and CSOs happen with planed guide for the participants target people and the groups who participated the two days workshop and has made responsive participation in the two days training course
The venue of the workshop was the rights target place that is held the two days’ workshop training the DPOs and CSOs the overall human rights protection and hosting  with accessible and supportive venues with good spaces in the conference hall, well equipped with furniture’s, available training material technologies, audio amplified that makes the sound more spread and the accessible mobility in the entry and out of the conference
The target people and institutions  invited to participate   two days t seminar  arrived and present the venues in the right time 8:30 Am who made the registration and the introduction among the participants each day in the two days of the training workshop.  The participants were briefed the workshop and provided note book, pens and participants patch card.
The workshop was opened with Holly Quran each day member of the participants subsequently with opening words of the SDN chairperson who made clear of the objectives and goal of the workshop to the participants. The facilitators proceeded their work and made the presentations in the two days workshop.  With ToR made in the projectors
The two days’ workshop strategic plan of action was assigned the Secretary General of the SDN who made possible   the guide and the work plan checklist.  Where the agenda of two days workshop was key guide of the day to day action and fallow up. Opening,  introduction of participants, briefing of the workshop, presentations, question and answers, breakfast and lunch and group work with group presentations.
The findings in the two dasy training workshop for the human rights protection the PWDs are the  limited capacity of the some of the DPOs , CSOs and Public Institutions for the CRPD and CRC and all other human rights protection for the PWDs protection. And the exclusion of the current human rights protection on the ground in many areas in the country and lack of support from he DPOs fill in the gap of the interventions.
The recommendations made in the two days training workshop are the increased cooperation the DPOs between  the CSOs, Human right Protection, Humanitarian actors, the donors and the government instruction supportive the human rights protection  in Somalia.
