MAALINTA DHALINYARADA QARANKA SOMALIYED
Somalia National Youth Day 15 may 2025 is held in Mogadishu by group of ODPs based in Somalia. The event is organized by SODYA Somalia Disability Youth Association. The event is participated by 20 persons from the PWDs and member from the CSOs working the disability inclusion.
Somalia national youth day was first made 1943 where it has been national day celebrated in the country more than 82 years. This national day is organized high-level events and ceremony to highlight Somalia youth progress and development made in the year 15 may.
The participants of the Somalia national youth day 15 may 2025 held in Mogadishu by SODYA has made discussion and debate abo the day. First opening and remains of the day were made by the chairperson of SODYA and SDN with assembly chairperson present in the event. Â Participant introduction was made among the persons present in the event conference room SDN office.
The objective of the event was to organize one day event participated by member from the ODPs representing the disability.  To highlight the value of the day Somalia national youth day 15 may 2025. To raise awareness the challenges and progress made by the Somali disability youth in the private and public sector work and life. To make call to action for the barrier, changes and problems in front of the PWDs.
The agenda of the event was to organize ceremony for the member from the disability and the leaders from the OPDs the organizations of the Persons with Disabilities and the CSOs Civil society organization working the disability inclusion in Somalia. The activities in the event were organize event, invitation for key actors in the stakeholder disability inclusion, discussion for the overall youth with disabilities challenges SYWDs
Overall the day story The 82 anniversary is held in Mogadishu by federal government of Somalia and participated by  several hundred youth from schools, professional, journalists,   sports and the member from the PWDs Persons with disabilities.  Where ministries, legislators and president of Somalia HH Mr. Hassan Sh Mahamoud delivered national speech touching different areas mainly the youth policy in Somalia.

The members participating the event of the Somalia National Youth Day 15 may 2025 made speech and key speech to focus the day and the overall role of the Somalia youth and specifically  the youth with impairment or disabilities I Somalia.
Member participating the event made decisions that touch the disability youth and the participation of all opacities private and public, the challenges existing, the barriers , the discrimination and the violations of human rights for the PWDs. This include child right violation, negligence, violate against women, lack of justice  in the society.
